Impostor

Impostor
Just as I was about to paint Ms Chick and the gang again I noticed that Senor Gallo Rozzo was
missing and in his place was an impostor  A ceramic chicken. Senor Gallo Rozzo had been kidnapped. I picked up the phone to call 911 when out of the blue Senor Gallo Rozzo was seen in the corner just squawking away it was the funniest thing because the stranger that he was squawking at now was his very own reflection in the mirror. I gave him a piece of pecan pie and it settled him right down. The other members of the gang just stood there like statues waiting for him to share and to my surprise he did just that....

Squawk Box

Squawk Box
Ms Chick and the gang arrived at my home in Alabama last Thursday. As I carefully picked up the box I could hear something. It was like squawking and flapping and yes even fussing. As I opened the lid and removed all the bubble wrap it was clear to see what the fuss was all about. Senor Gallo Rozzo had two broken legs and he was sure putting up a fuss. I gently lifted him out and reached for the super glue and sweet tea I am a registered nurse you know so he was in good hands. He laid there quietly as I fixed him right up. He was a little stiff but soon was back to his old self. I have a feeling that it is his character to be just a little bit grouchy bless his little heart. Anyway as I posed them for a picture I just could not get him to stop yelling at the others. It was like he was blaming them for his misfortune. I promptly set him down and had a little motherly talk with him and soon he was laughing and singing and playing games. He finally realized that he was as good as new. When I packed them back in the box to ship to the next adventure he insisted on going last just in case....
